Multiple living unit security upgrade projects have been completed including the replacement of cell door locks and door controls, and the installation of automated flush valves with lock-out features in cells to prevent flushing of items by inmates. Additionally, design and implementation of a new Critical Equipment Alarm Monitoring System (CEAMS) has been completed. The system allows for faster identification and response time to critical equipment trouble or failure. Working with BC Corrections staff and our client, we developed a cost effective design that provides a reliable and functional solution. This solution allows for simple future expandability and ease of use.
